You can email me at Mad.Hattery.Hats@gmail.com for more info! —————————————– CONSTRUCTION DETAILS —————————————– The hat is extremely durable and made to be worn, constructed of theatre quality 2-ply buckram and heavy gauge wire, with Fosshape and felt to complete the shape. The hat fabric is a miracle find from the fashion district (that took over 7 months to locate), brown and gold subtle paisley with a black over-print. The hat band is gold-shot mauve/salmon with hand painted gold flowers. One end is hand frayed, the other is cut to a ‘V’ as per the original. The hat pins are non-functional and have beads hand-picked from multiple sources including vintage shops and former necklaces. They change slightly per each hat to stay true to Burton’s ever-changing hatter and give you a unique hat of your own. There is a hand-wrapped pair of peacock feathers stitched to the left side with an embroidered, embellished peacock ‘eye’ laid overtop, and the 10/6 card has been burnt and scaled to match the original, tucked into the hat band. Outfit of the Day Halloween

This is what I wore on Halloween. I’m Alice wearing a dress from Hot Topic, headband with a bow, Petticoat which is white, tan Leggs nylons under my white stockings (because it was going to be cold), and my Mary Jane 2 1/2 school heels. Shelby my best friend is wearing the Mad Hatter (Girl Version) dress, Matching hat, Leggs black fishnet nylons, and black heels. Andrew is wearing the Mad Hatter hat and coat. I also put in some pics of us that night and us watching Alice. No Blue in my hair votes won so I Painted my dog.

This Halloween, 2010 was my most excellent ever!! I finally wore a costume that didn’t suck! I could see my “Mad Hatter” transformation in my head and I was so pleased to make it real and I did it so well 
The entire costume cost less than , majority of costume pieces I already had at home. I attended a fabulous Halloween party and costume contest at a local bar, “The Blue Ox” where I won 2nd place and brought home a prize. I made my Mad Hatter costume my own but I was truly inspired by the new “Alice in Wonderland” with Johnny Depp.

My nephew was dying to try on him boyfriends mad hatter that i made by myself with like no help. It turned out so good i think =] I worked really hard. It looks simple but not at all when you are actually doing it gets complicated but i managed. So yeah my nephew wore it he was in love with the hat.
