alice in wonderland psychology?

for a project, i have to take a story and diagnose characters with disorders. i want to use Alice, the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, the March Hare, the Hatter, the Dormouse, and maybe the Queen of Hearts/ Red Queen.
There can be more than one disorder per character if you can think of some please.
I was thinking that alice would have schizophrenia, the white rabbit would have some sort of paranoid personality disorder, not sure about the caterpillar or the cheshire cat, the march hare could have ADD, the hatter i still don’t know, the dormouse could have narcolepsy, and i don’t know about the queen.
please mention any possibilities of a disorder, and a reason or example. thanks!
thanks! let me know if you find some more possibilities!

In Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton's version)…?

Does anyone know why Stayne, the Knave of Hearts was made the Queen’s favorite? I mean, yeah I get that she has a crush on him, but the don’t all the people in her court have a certain "largeness" about them (ears, noses, bellies, etc.)? Did they ever say in the movie why he was made the queen’s favorite? Asking out of pure curiosity.

Oh, and this is a serious question I’m asking, so no perverted answers, thank you very much!

Should I make a Queen of Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds or Spades costume?

So I like to wear costumes to geek conventions and stuff, and I wanted to go as the queen of hearts, and my boyfriend would be king, but he said we shouldn’t do Hearts cuz it’s been done in Alice in Wonderland.

Then one of our friends decided that she wanted to come too and be the joker.
Anyway we can’t decide what suit to be.
I’m also concerned about finding the fabric to make the costumes. Diamondy fabric would probably be easiest to find, but we’re not sure that that’s what we want to do.

        ??

How does this idea sound in place of a high school musical?

Hi, I’m involved in the high school showchoir and about a week ago, I got to thinking about what the choral teacher told us students about the school budget supporting the art department. We’re a bit tight on money and have cut one known teacher- but we are NOT a poor person’s school. Just this past year, there were Promethean teaching boards installed into each classroom to be used by the teachers. So our school board does good but I’m concerned about something…

The past two years, we’ve done two winter musicals: (my eighth grade year) they did Alice in Wonderland and I don’t think that was met with as much positive response as this past year’s musical was… we did Godspell and it turned out great! Everybody loved it! It was funny, sweet, and touching just like the Broadway musical and 1973 movie was.
But the thing was, we had a tight budget then and most of the duration of the play was set in "a junkyard" (the stage scattered in piles of random junk) and maybe another setting. And that was it.
I understand it costs a LOT to help make a high school musical but I don’t want to see this coming year’s ideas go up in smoke completely.
So heres the idea I want to all you theater buffs on:

Instead of during a different musical like Jesus Christ Superstar or Rent (chances are, we wouldn’t do Rent cos it’s very controversial; I just said it for example), how about putting on a HUGE concert where all of us team up to do popular music and covers in a two-three hour time period. I imagined us doing a 25-30 minute Madonna tribute (yes, I stole that idea from the great Glee episode) and I think we could get away with doing Madonna’s more "tame" songs like "Open Your Heart", "Ray of Light" or MAYBE "Like A Prayer." But Madonna wasn’t the only idea… I imagined doing some Queen, Neil Diamond, current pop music, and many other ideas. I just wonder if we could get away with the whole big 2-3 hour concert where people can come hear talented kids perform great music. I’m going to bring this up to the choir teacher when school starts back but I need help, deciding if doing a concert that brought all three choir departments (Ladies Chorale, Concert Choir, Showchoir) together instead of a big musical. Would this be such a good idea after all? Thanks and God bless!

What do you think of this poem?

So Alice, you’ve decided to delight us with your face.
Well let me tell you something queer about this wondrous place.
I wouldn’t want to add a worry to any that you’ve had,
But every creature living here is some degree of mad.
I know that you believe that your new friends are lots of fun.
Just don’t end up as mad as them before your time is done.
In the court of the red queen behind their brightly colored masks,
Lies a darkness that must die; to kill it is your task.
Please don’t worry your pretty head about the about the cards up her sleeve.
Her ace of hearts is powerless is all the players leave.
It’s up to you to save us from this deadly little game,
For her ace of hearts is Jabberwock, if you want to know its name.
And the Jabberwock is not the only thing that you should fear,
Don’t leave behind your sanity when you depart from here.
To win you must defeat the Jabberowck, but do not fall,
For the only other way to win is not to play at all.
              And I’m quite afraid to tell you, you’ve already moved your pawn;
And this deadly game end before the sun has met the dawn.
When waking from this dream, I pray you will not be afraid.
Just fancy it a silly game you did not want to play.

Obviously, it was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, which I just finished reading. What do you think?

What’s a good title for a book about..?

What’s a good title for a book about a girl that enters a mirror in her attic and ends up in Wonderland with everyone calling her Alice and she has to free the land from the Queen of Hearts?

I was thinking of "Through the Wonder-glass" but I’m not sure.

Any suggestion would be really great. Thanks :)

Poem I wrote. Can you understand it at all? I need someone besides me to read it please =)?

                  *The Queen of Hearts*

                  The visual is disoriented.

You’re in front of me. I see your lips move. Though, you’re miles away.

I’ll try to answer you, but I sway.

I choke on words that I can’t even hear.

Words must have formed because you turned away.

Blinding lights. I see them marching. I see them right in the opening of a new dimension.

They won’t stop. They just keep coming.

                  I’m so hypnotized by it.

I gawk and fall further into another realm.

I can feel my own mind flutter and my whole body spin. Yet, I am still.

                  When will it end?

I can hear the steady rhythm of my beating head.

It consumes my senses as I wonder ‘What are these stringy things on my head?’

I lower the weight, blocking out the marching lights.

                  It’s so cold.

It tingles my senses, pulling me out of the realm only half way.

                  I squeeze my eyes shut.

                  No.

The marching is still there. I am falling once more.

My mind goes numb as I fall further.

I feel blood rushing like a dam just broke in my head.

                  My eyes blink.

                  The marching lights are gone.

                  The dimension has closed up.

All that is left is the steady beat of my head.

You’re in front of me. I can hear you clearly again.

what do ya think? I just wrote it on a whim =)
I want to know if you can at all understand it.
I have Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (it’s a type of migraine), and what I’m writing about it my very first painful experience.

                  Thanks in advance =)
To give you a little more in depth about the title and why I choose it:
lewis carroll is the author of Alice in Wonderland. He was the first one to be diagnosed with migraine.
The book he writes is about his experiences with his headaches.
The marching in the poem where is very similar to when the cards march towards Alice in the book.
That is why I choose The Queen of Hearts.
It refers back to Alice in Wonderland and that scene,
The marching in the poem *here* is very similar to when the cards march towards Alice in the book.
                  slash that ‘w’ out =)
I have also posted another poem called The Other Side of the Mushroom

Will you read that as well please?

I need help coming up with vibrant characters, and their names.?

I’m writing a book somewhat based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

Here is a list of characters so far
The Hare – The hatters father, I want him to resemble the white rabbit/march hair yet also have a down to earth old grandfatherly type of attitude. He tells stories, is gradually late, sometimes has a bad temper, and is all in all very supportive of Hatter.
The Hatter- Co-owns the store with his father, and is sort of… hyperactive, creative, funny, cute, but doesn’t like to admit his feelings whatever they may be. He usually helps out people, but tricks them sometimes just to get them to where they need to be. He either does that to amuse himself, or to get them to come along with him because he knows the truth will make the person not want to trust him. All in all hes is a nice guy.
The girl- She is unnamed and has no actual personality. I need help with her. She is Hatters main love interest. And doesn’t trust him in the beginning, she is more open to the hare. She is around 19, and im trying to describe her as…. naive but intelligent. She sort of just goes along with everything in my mind. But she does try to help hatter and the hare.
The mother- Shes somewhat like my mother. She scrapbooks, cooks, as her daughter to run errands, and is very open to the people in her daughters life. (the girl) She is unnamed and i would like a little bit of help to help strengthen her character more.
The other book seller- The guy the Hatter has to make risky deals with. I just see him as someone to be cautious about. But i would also like to name him and give him more character depth. I see him as… a male queen of hearts xD very… um unfair, cruel, trickster- y (a little like the cheshire cat) and just…. someone you don’t want to mess with unless you have the wits to turn his words around and get what you want.

Please help (: The hatter and hare are actually not their real names by the way… their "nicknames". So i need help with a regular name for them too. Please and Thanks.
